Humanity has an undying need to dissect and understand our surroundings: to define the unknown. We use the scientific method to mine for rules that act as umbrellas to explain the whole, but theories and collected data are but predictions and translations of the world around us. This calculated understanding of our environment is an abstraction of our reality that we experience with our senses rather than an objective truth. Never is science absolutely correct, it can only prove previous theories wrong and present new ideas in reaction. Emergence explores means of definition and the translation of our surroundings through this scientific method of data collection and its subsequent analysis and transformation.
